We will be focused on painting again in April. Our last month of classes for this school year will be next month. Before we transition into camps for June and July. We always do clay in May and a lot of students have been waiting for it. I have been looking forward to it myself. So don't miss out. Finish out the school year with us and join us for a camp or two.

This month at Wonder Colors we will be focusing on improving our drawing skills. To kick things off our students are using charcoal to draw and shade a lighthouse. With the lighthouse itself, the water, the rocks, and the clouds there are many opportunities for our students to work on their drawing skills. I have been very pleased with our students work as they continue to impress me every week.

The last lesson for our drawing month is Wayne Thiebaud in ink. Mary and I both really enjoy all of his pop art and think it translates well as a lesson for any age. A lot of his work is candy, cake and pancakes which is always something our students enjoy working on. I can't say that I blame them. We hope everyone enjoys these as much as we do. We are looking forward to a painting month starting next week!

Hey guys! Sorry, I have been a little behind updating the website. January is a drawing month here at the studio. We have been have been having a great start to the new year. Quite a few of our classes are filling up so make sure to come in a register if you have had it on your to do list. This week the students are drawing a underwater octopus with soft pastels on a painted background. We hope you enjoy these as much as we do.
