We have been sharpening our drawing skills in August!

We have had a great time getting back in the swing of our regular schedule. We would like to thank so many of you for jumping right back in with us and even filling up some of our classes. You have helped us get off to a great start for the school year and we are thankful. We have been focusing on drawing this past month to get ourselves ready for painting which we will be beginin September. Now that we are all warmed up I cannot wait to see what Mrs. Mary and the students will be showing us soon.

April is about Drawing!

Contemporary Art In March!

          This month we will be focusing on contemporary art. We know this is a broad focus due to the fact it could really be any art done in the last fifty years. This does allow us to try some really cool new techniques and create some art that you may want to hang in your walls not just because the amazing artist in your life did it but it may just look really awesome there anyway. We really only focus on one artist this month Chuck Close. I recommend you look him up on wikipedia. Or just click here! Very interesting and talented artist who is worth reading about.
